Leisure Timers
Leisure Timers is a fellowship group for seniors and retired folks. They meet at church the 3rd Thursday of each month at 12 noon for a covered dish lunch and an informational or entertainment program coordinated by the leaders. Topics and activities are chosen that appeal widely to the group.
In addition to the monthly lunch meetings, the Leisure Timers also take frequent day-trips locally and around the state for cultural and entertainment activities. The Leisure Timers also participate and contribute time and resources to other church programs. All seniors and retired people at Redeemer are encouraged to be a part of this active and exciting group!

Upcoming Events! 
We have had great participation in our activities so far this year! Don’t miss out! Trips and activities away from the church usually require reservations - sign up at the monthly meetings or by contacting Anne Wilkinson.
- April 17 - Monthly carry-in lunch
- April 19 - Abbeville Opera House matinee performance of Neil Simon's Prisoner of Second Avenue ($16/person); lunch at the Village Grill
- May 7 - Guided tour of Revolutionary War Park in Camden ($4/person); Lunch at Colony Inn Cafe, shopping in antique shops, afternoon tea at the Ten Eleven Galleria-Cups
- May 15 - regular covered dish lunch at church
- May 17 - Popcorn and Movie event - ($5/person including supper)
- May 25 - Memorial Day Concert on Sunday at Koger Center (free)

June 5 - Tour the Cayce Historial Museum which chronicles the first European settlement (in the early 1700's) in the SC Midklands, then called the "back country." ($1 admission) Box lunch from the Box Lunch Co. at the picnic area of Cayce's Riverwalk Park ($7.50 each). Walking tour of the 1.5 mile riverwalk for those who are able
- August 4-8, 2008 - Assist Redeemer Music Camp - We will serve snacks each day, and attend the closing program at 12:15 pm on the 8th.
All seniors and/or retired persons of Redeemer are encouraged to join us. We look forward to seeing you!
