Bells, Chimes, and Instruments
Celebrate! Chimes is our beginning chime/ bell ensemble and is open to those in first to fifth grade. Rehearsals are Wednesdays from 6:30pm until 7:00pm in the Handbell Room. We typically ring once a month in worship. No prior ringing experience or music reading ability is needed to join. Seasonal activity schedules can be accommodated.
The Advanced Bell Choir rings God's praises weekly. Membership is ideally 13 or 14 ringers. A good sense of rhythm is necessary. Prior handbell or instrumental music experience is helpful but not necessary. We meet on Sunday afternoon at 4:30 pm in the Handbell Room.
Instrumentalists are often needed to accompany choirs and enhance our worship. Whether a seasoned professional or a student musician, or someone who is picking up an instrument after several years away, we have opportunities to fit your abilities.
