"To sing like this, in the company of other souls, and to make those consonants slip out so easily and in unison, and to make those chords so rich that they bring tears to your eyes. This is transcendence. This is the power that choral singing has that other music can only dream of." --Garrison Keillor

The Celebrate! Choir is our choir for those in first through fifth grade.  Rehearsals are Wednesdays from 5:30pm until 6:00pm in the Celebrate! Choir room located off of the Music Suite.  We sing once a month and assist the Adult Choir in leading worship on Festival Days and other special occasions.  No prior singing experience is needed to participate.  Choir rehearsals will resume on September 1st, 2010.

The Youth Choir is for middle and high school youth.  This choir rehearses on Sunday morning at approximately 9:35 at the conclusion of the 8:30 service in the music room connected to the choir room.  The choir will sing a variety of styles of music and sing in worship about twice per month, occasionally joining with the Adult Choir.  Youth Choir rehearsals will resume on Sunday, September 5, 2010.

The Adult Choir The choir gathers for warm-up and prayer 30 minutes prior any service we sing. Everyone, High School age and older, is welcome to sing in the Adult Choir. Rehearsals are on Wednesday evenings from 7:00pm until 8:30pm.  No prior singing or music reading experience is necessary.  Adult choir rehearsals will resume on September 1, 2010.

The Cantor Program provides opportunities for vocalists to serve as Cantors and soloists at our worship services. Children, youth and adults are welcome.  Please speak to the Minister of Music if you are interested.

The Pick-up and Occasional Choir meets as necessary to provide musical leadership during the summer months as well as for Funerals, Weddings and other special occasions.  Membership includes the Adult Choir, but anyone else who wishes to sing or be a part of a choir but may not be able to commit to regular weekly rehearsals is welcome to participate.  Please let Jim know if you are interested in participating in this way.
